Personal Food Trucks

Since part of the house I live in is also a store, occasionally there are just several food trucks in my driveway. It's not bad having your own personal food trucks outside your house!

I got some smoked sausage from one of them. It was good.

A little later, I decided that I would make a wildly different variation on the dinner burrito. First, I would scramble some eggs as usual.

But then, instead of chorizo or any meat, I substituted some of those cheese ranch potatoes I made.

Let's try it.

It surprisingly wasn't bad, but it still wasn't better than the classic dinner burrito.

I washed it down with a little apple cider.

And a cookie.

And the requisite milk.

More Heaven

Unfortunately, all that homework last night also included a chemistry lab report and a pre-lab. The worst part about that means that I have lab the next day aka today. I only had a brotein bar before my lab this morning.

I took the picture of my brotein bar next to my Ferrari Club name tag to try to make the day seem less chemistry-y.

After my lab, I had another intramural tennis match, so I shotgunned a double chocolate banana muffin for some quick energy.

When I got home, I indulged in half of a caramel pretzel brownie.

And Sidney was kind enough to give me the leftovers of her beef and broccoli and lo mein from yesterday.

2 pounds of Heaven!

Breakfast was the best of both worlds. Here, just look:

For dinner, Sidney and I ordered our favorite Chinese takeout. We always get the beef and broccoli with lo mein, and today was no different. What was different about today is that I bothered to take the food out of the to go containers and put it on a plate for the sole purpose of weighing it.

Altogether with the crab rangoons and spring roll, the total weight came to just over 2 pounds of food! I call that a perfectly-sized meal!

I then snack on the various rings while working on mountains of homework.

These babies really helped me get through it with less pain than there could have been.

Potato!

Brotein breakfast, but why?

For my fancy dinner, I again used some fancy European style fancy butter. Fancy.

I sort of made this up as I went along, but here it is.

I chopped up some potatoes, layered some butter pats over top of them...

...poured some ranch over them, and layered them with cheese.

Into the oven they went until they were done.

I had one more chicken thigh and a decent serving of the potatoes.

They were interesting. They were good, but really interesting. I would probably make them again.

I also had some jello because jiggly.

And since it was Wednesday, I was at Sprouts earlier. That means I got some sort of candy. This time is was an abundance of rings!

I got watermelon rings and apple rings. Both were good, though maybe not quite as good as peach rings.

Losing more body parts

I decided to try the new pumpkin spice brotein bar this morning.

After a long day of classes and not eating, I was uplifted when, on my way home, I saw a gorgeous thing:

Reinvigorated, I hurried home with a quickness like lightning. Once there, I got started on a simple but delicious dinner. You may be able to predict what it will be, but here it is:

There was three cheese mac and cheese.

And there was yet more ramen.

Two bowl night.

I also had chicken thigh from a few nights ago.

Once that was out of the way, I consolidated my two bowls into one.

This was a match made in food heaven, let me tell you.

Unfortunately, my toe skin was not impressed. It decided to leave me anyway.

I promised it more mac and cheese and ramen, but it wasn't having any of it. It had made up its mind and it was leaving.

GIANT Gumballs!

I was feeling in need of some brotein today, so I stocked up. I had one for breakfast...

...and one for lunch.

When I got home, I found the smallest box of Milk Duds ever. I ate it.

I cooked up some potatoes, country style. This is allowed since I live in the country.

I also cooked up some chicken thighs.

Chicken thighs and potatoes.

Besides the meat and potatoes, I had some of these. Can you guess what's inside?

Of course!

Then I found some GIANT gumballs! These are perfect! I love giants, and I love gumballs, so this is a match made in heaven!

O orange orb of confectionery creation, open thyself and reveal thy treasures.

NERDS!

Out With the Old, In With Whatever Else.

Today marked my last day of employment at Mrs. E's. It's been two years of nothing but good times and happy memories...

My final meal at Mrs. E's consisted of a crunchy chicken sandwich with three slices of pepper jack and some mayonnaise on the bun.

It's been real, Mrs. E's. It's been real.

When I got home, I decided that a nice and easy meal was in order. I popped a Home Run Inn pizza into the oven...

...and in no time, dinner was ready. Carb up time!

In the interest of something, I only ate half the pizza.

At least there was a little bit of brotein on there!

But now that I'm unemployed, I have to start thinking about what's next. I honestly don't know for sure, but we'll find out eventually.
